The True Precision Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9 Threaded Barrel, 1/2×28 is designed for all ammo types including cast lead, and is an aesthetically pleasing barrel that doesn’t affect the function of the barrel. The match grade stainless steel material that True Precision uses in all of their barrels is designed for all ammo, including cast lead, while the broach cut rifling is inherently more accurate and long lasting. The matching 1/2×28 threaded barrel in the True Precision Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm Match Grade Barrel is then heat treated to 42-44 HRC for strength. The threaded barrel includes a matching thread protector with tension lock system and integral Vitton high heat oring. Additionally, all barrels are designed with a 10 degree match target crown for equal and unobstructed gas dispersion which leads to greater accuracy potential.
