it came 2 days late, but it came with some bonus incentives for choosing optics planet i popped it in and took it to the range my Glock 23 gen 3 love it not a single problem occurred. i would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good and reliable firing pin assembly, and it also came in already assembled all i had to do was slide it in place and test it in the field.

The Shadow Systems Firing Pin Assembly works just fine and is easy to install. The whole process took about two minutes, and my Glock was ready for action. Optics Planet was my only source for this part, and I was glad it was an in-stock item.

After about 10000 rounds semi auto failed now its performing like a single action, but its still a great firing pin… up until it fails. But what can you expect from a budget firing pin. It wanted more characters

My old firing pin finally bit the dust. I don't have an actual round count but on my last trip to the range I had misfire after misfire. I'd put the same rounds in another pistol and they worked fine so I replaced my firing pin. I did a little polishing on this guy and it works perfectly. It's definitely a heavier pull than my old worn-out striker and spring but that's to be expected with a new trigger vs and trigger that's so worn that it refuses to fire consistently. I see a lot of negative reviews on this and other striker/spring (s) because they increase trigger pull. Unless you're buying a "performance/ competition" product you should expect duty/reliability performance. It'll break in

Came as a complete firing pin assembly. Used only the actual firing pin and kept the other parts as spares. Fit and finish of the pin itself was excellent. Felt no burrs or imperfections on the surface that could interfere with smooth function. The rest of the parts were standard fare and would be very handy in a pinch. Overall, I would recommend this product over getting just a firing pin by itself.
