This product does not work on a Gen 5 G19. This full steel complete slide works great on the earlier Gen3 G19. The end plate is wider on the older Gen G19 than the Gen5 G19.

As they say, when something is too good to be true, it usually is. I was astounded at the price for this complete slide kit so I ordered it. I had already installed a Trybe slide from OpticsPlanet on one of my G19 Gen3 and it worked GREAT. So this one must be good also, right? When I installed this slide, I noticed it sat a little too far forward on the G19 Gen3 frame. Same with a Gen2 frame. It fed fine with 9mm snapcaps so off to the range I go. At the range, it failed to load ANY factory ball ammo (SB, American Eagle, UMC). I tried factory and Magpul mags, no dice. When I manually loaded a round into the chamber, it failed to go fully into battery without a shove on the rear of the slide. When I pulled the trigger (with much hesitation), it failed repeatedly to ignite…light strikes on the primer. I tried the Patmos slide with a factory G19 barrel…same results. I didn't go further into investigating the issue because if the slide is the problem, there's no point in wasting any more time. Luckily OP has a great return policy. Guess I will try other slides next.

Not correct to small for a g19 looks more like a g26 doesn’t charge total garbage machining was not good it gets stuck on the slide block will not move something with design is obviously not made for a Glock 19 .Should have listened to the first review I saw on this product

This slide set up is designed for Glock 19 Gen 1-3 only. That is lacking in the description here, and most of these poor reviews appear to be customers that bought this for Gen 4 or 5. Tried to put this on my buddy's Gen 5 and had the same issues as other reviewers, however this works perfectly on my Gen 3. Is this the best quality aftermarket slide you can get for a Glock? Of course not, but to get a completed slide with a barrel and recoil spring for this price, is actually a tremendous value. The machining on it is a little rough, which is to be expected at this price point, but it's no worse than machining i've seen on some slides that are 2x the price of this one. I would highly recommend this slide for anyone looking to build an optics ready glock 19 on a tight budget.

After reading the one review, and having the same issues with a p80 slide which came complete, I wouldn't send 20 bucks for it. The stress and hassle is not worth it. Thanks for the honest review.
